24/7 FESTIVAL RETURNS FOR 5TH YEAR
The 5th 24/7 festival has returned to Manchester today. The event which brings a whole week of new theatre to the streets of Manchester. The event runs from 21 -27 July presenting performances of new plays in a variety of non-theatre venues in Manchester. 24:7 uses non-theatre venues in Manchester city centre including the Midland Hotel which ties in with repertory theatre pioneer Annie Horniman's connections in the area and Manchester City Council's "original-modern" marketing concept. FORMER MR GAY UK WINNER PREPARES FOR HALF MARATHON
Former Mr Gay UK winner Mark Carter is about to tackle a half marathon in aid of Anthony Nolon Trust. The half marathon will take the PC from Bradford police HQ to the site of Huddersfield's biggest pride event The pink picnic at Castle Hill on July 27. As you may have noticed gtentelevision.com has been given a new look. We have added new sections and given old ones a makeover.
