The 5th 24/7 festival has returned to Manchester today. The event which brings a whole week of new theatre to the streets of Manchester. The event runs from 21 -27 July presenting performances of new plays in a variety of non-theatre venues in Manchester. 24:7 uses non-theatre venues in Manchester city centre including the Midland Hotel which ties in with repertory theatre pioneer Annie Horniman's connections in the area and Manchester City Council's "original-modern" marketing concept. FORMER MR GAY UK WINNER PREPARES FOR HALF MARATHON
Former Mr Gay UK winner Mark Carter is about to tackle a half marathon in aid of Anthony Nolon Trust. The half marathon will take the PC from Bradford police HQ to the site of Huddersfield's biggest pride event The pink picnic at Castle Hill on July 27. As you may have noticed gtentelevision.com has been given a new look. We have added new sections and given old ones a makeover. Our news section has been expanded to cover sport, community and pride news. We have also added a new section called GTEN MUSIC which has replaced The Fluid Chart. And the 7 days in the village has now become 7 days which now takes in the M.E.N arena and other venues for listings. And we have more things planned over the coming months so keep coming back.
NEW LINE UP AT GAYDAR RADIO SEE'S SEXUAL TERRORIST LEAVE
Former Big Brother contestant Richard Newman has left Gaydar radio as the station reveal their new line up. The new line-up also includes a live Sunday night show hosted by DJ Gary H and an extended drivetime with Phil Marriott. Maria Peters makes her UK commercial radio debut with Jukebox Requests on weekends from 3pm. There will also be a new morning show hosted by Neil Sexton and Simon Le Vans. As well as Richard and his co star Lea Walker leaving other DJ's leaving include Kris Di Angelis and Cliff Joannou.
NEW AXM VENUE'S REVEAL WEEKLY LINE UPS
The two new editions to the AXM brand in Manchester have revealed their line ups for the next few weeks. The new venue at 100 bloom street is split into two floors with AXM lounge on the top floor and AXM late on the ground floor. The events planned include Pride got talent and FNL in AXM late to show tunes and live cabaret in AXM lounge.
